We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join AstroLabs

We have huge plans for 2022 which include growing our teams across UAE, KSA, and Lebanon. We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us on our mission to hire and develop the best talent in the region.

You will partner with our CEO, business leaders and management team to develop and drive our recruitment strategy across all business areas including Sales, Finance, Marketing and Operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a world-class talent acquisition strategy to allow us to scale quickly

  • Source, attract and hire the best talent in the region across all business areas including Sales, Finance, Marketing & Operations in the UAE, KSA and Lebanon.

  • Review all inbound applications and use different sourcing channels to reach out to potential candidates including; LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Slack, Google Dorks etc

  • Think of unique ways to attract superstar talent across all different levels including interns through to leadership

  • Work closely with hiring managers to create job descriptions, identify skills and competencies they are looking for, and implement effective assessment methods and tools

  • Create efficient interview processes and implement effective assessment methods and tools

  • Design an exceptional candidate experience that showcases the AstroLabs culture and values

  • Provide hiring managers with regular updates on pipelines and progress

  • Conduct first stage interviews and screen for suitable candidates

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews

  • Ensure all interviews are scheduled and recorded via our ATS (Recruitee) and ensure that all data relevant to the candidates is accurately recorded

  • Provide regular feedback to candidates and always close the loop even if they’re not successful

  • Offer and close successful candidates

  • Build up the talent bench and talent community for future hires

  • Set hiring goals and track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, source of hire and time-to-fill

  • Work with our people team to develop a strong employer brand to attract the best talent

Job requirements

What do you need to be successful in this position?

  • Previous talent acquisition experience, ideally with experience in hiring top sales talent
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, a natural “people person” with drive, enthusiasm and a serious ‘make it happen’ attitude
  • Superb active listening skills and a high EQ

  • Ability to multitask, juggling multiple priorities and working across multiple departments and projects

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to own projects from start to finish.

  • Meticulous, organized, highly skilled at prioritization. Relentlessly focused on tasks that deliver desired results and outcome driven

  • Focused on impact and on finding ways to things better and faster

  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, ownership, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

  • Be a brand ambassador for AstroLabs and represent the business with a professional and positive attitude at all times

  • Psychology background or studies is a plus
