An in-house Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for attracting and bringing the best talent to our team. As we are rapidly growing and expanding our teams in UAE and KSA, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with management to support executing a comprehensive recruitment strategy and manage the full-cycle recruiting process. Being proactive in talent acquisition is key to anticipating needs and connecting the best talent in our communities to the right roles. We are always sourcing and maintaining qualified superstars engaged with our brand to identify and create suitable opportunities that will take us to the next level.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for candidates and hiring managers alike

  • Proactively source and maintain a pool of top-quality candidates to ensure we always have access to the best talent out there

  • Ensure that the applicant tracking system (ATS) is clean and can be utilized for future recruitment and data analysis.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify job requirements and create job postings that accurately reflect the needs of the role and the company

  • Screen resumes and candidates to identify the best fit for open positions and ensure we're only moving forward with the most qualified candidates

  • Conduct in-depth first interviews to assess candidate skills and qualifications and ensure a good fit with the company culture and values

  • Draft and negotiate job offers to ensure we're attracting and retaining top talent in a competitive market

  • Maintain a talent pool of qualified and passionate “AstroLabby” candidates to join our team in the future.

  • Create and manage talent pools for specific roles and functions, and provide relevant resources and events to keep candidates engaged with our brand.

  • Support in the execution of creative and effective engagement strategies to keep candidates interested and excited about the opportunities we offer.

Employer Branding

  • Support with developing and executing employer brand strategies that reflect our unique company culture and values.

  • Collaborate with the Communications team to create compelling and engaging content that showcases our team members, their experiences, and our company culture.

  • Conduct research to understand industry trends and best practices and apply this knowledge to our employer branding efforts.

  • Create and execute events and initiatives that showcase our employer brand and engage with the wider community.

Job requirements

What do you need to be successful in this position? 

  • 2-4 years of strong experience in identifying, recruiting, and cultivating top talent across various roles and functions

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell our company story in an engaging and compelling way

  • Passion for innovation and creativity, and the ability to think outside the box to attract top talent

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability, and the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team

  • A passion for diversity and inclusion, and a commitment to creating a team that reflects the unique perspectives and experiences of our customers and communities
