Job Responsibilities 

Sourcing Superstar Talent & Candidate Experience

  • Use LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Slack, Google Dorks, etc to source for potential candidates

  • Be a talent thought leader on professional networks to develop strong relationships with passive superstar talent

  • Build talent pipelines for the future hiring needs of our partners

  • Think of unique ways to attract superstar talent from around the world

  • Ask for referrals from candidates and the wider AstroLabs network

  • Interview candidates to evaluate their skills, experience, career goals, and culture fit

  • Match candidates to amazing job opportunities

  • Fully prepare candidates before introducing them to our partners

  • Prepare candidates for interviews to maximize their potential of landing a job

  • Provide support throughout the offer management process to successfully hire candidates

  • Ensure a smooth onboarding with our partners to set all candidates up for success in their new roles

  • Build up our talent pool by maintaining our candidate database via our ATS (Manatal and Recruitee) and ensure that all data relevant to the candidates is accurately recorded

Client Relationships & Talent Advisory

  • Maintain relationships with key strategic hiring partners to find them superstar talent and build incredible teams

  • Act as a talent advisor and provide a consultative approach to help our partners create efficient hiring processes with excellent communication and candidate experience

  • Onboard our partners to our ATS to access the talent pipeline and provide feedback

  • Measure success by real value-added and outcomes including hiring metrics such as reduction in time to hire, exceptional candidate feedback, and increase in retention rates

Talent Community Building & Engagement

  • Develop and nurture relationships with superstar talent. Foster a thriving talent community in person and online

  • Support talent across a multi-year career and personal development journey

  • Plan and execute new initiatives - events, career fairs, webinars, upskilling opportunities, mentoring sessions

  • Make valuable connections and introductions within our client portfolio, community, and alumni

Job requirements

What do you need to be successful in this position?

  • 2+ years of talent acquisition experience, ideally building digital and tech teams for startups and corporates going through digital transformation

  • Knowledge of digital or tech disciplines is essential

  • Previous experience in a tech & digital recruitment agency

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, a natural “people person” with drive, enthusiasm, and a serious ‘make it happen’ attitude

  • Superb active listening skills and a high EQ

  • Ability to multitask, juggling multiple priorities and working across multiple departments and projects

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to own projects from start to finish.

  • Meticulous, organized, and highly skilled at prioritization. Relentlessly focused on tasks that deliver desired results and achieve commercial outcomes

  • Focused on impact and on finding ways to things better and faster

  • The ability to create strong long-lasting relationships with our partners

  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, ownership, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

  • The ability to give an unparalleled client experience with full transparency and quick communication

  • Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial communities and startups
